WileyX XL1 Replacement Lenses Light Adjusting

One pair of replacement lenses for the Wiley-X XL-1 frame (frame not included) in Light Adjusting. LA lenses lighten and darken depending on the amount of Ultraviolet Light (UV) exposure. Inside (for example inside your house or car, even if the sun is shining through the window) and under lower UV conditions outside (like on a cloudy or overcast day or early morning or late afternoon or evening) the lenses are a pale color (not perfectly clear or colorless) as shown in the photo. With UV exposure (for example, outside on a sunny day at noon) they become a slightly darker grey shade according to the amount of UV light. Note even under strong UV conditions they do not get nearly as dark as a regular sunglass tint (such as the Smoke Green or Polarized Slate lenses) but are convenient for changing light conditions and especially if you do not require a dark lens for daytime use. Many people tell us that they see no change at all and they think the lenses are defective. This is normal and not a defect as they just dont change much in our experience and when they do change it is sometimes hard to see. Sometimes you will not see any change unless you cover part of one lens with something (like a Post-it note), take the lenses outside on a sunny day around noon, wait a few minutes, then peel away the Post-it note. If you are not familiar with these lenses and you are sensitive to light and need dark glasses when you are outside please keep all of this in mind before considering these lenses. Lenses are made of shatter resistant polycarbonate and are 100% ultraviolet protective. ....read more
